Keeping a promise to God

Jeremiah 6:16

This is what the Lord says:

“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.

As we travel through life, we sail through calm waters or stormy seas. In times of distress, or in the peace that surpasses understanding, we learn to cling to God more. Making our vows, a sacrifice of praise to God, no matter the road we travel. Our focus that God will provide safety, security in which ever road we choose to walk down, we put our trust in Him.

Some paths are very thin. Some people around you might get away with enjoying the carefree things of life. However, the path you chose might be so delicate and so precious to God that you are not allowed to partake in the carefree seductions of this world. Others might not understand. It is a thin road a few find.

Your kingdom assignment is to important that you can not let distractions and temptations distract you from sharing God's good news. The cost is great but the reward of keeping our commitment to God is a pure blessing being under the covering that supplies every need. The patience of God that leads us down the right path. Passing through to from Glory to glory.

Jesus, keep me focused on You. Give me the strength and the courage to minister Your good news regardless of the personal cost or the persecution. Jesus, I live for You. Amen

Matthew 7:13-14

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
